Hoshi 2242 is the Kikuhana daughter from a famous Takeda Farm maternal line. Her dam is by Terutani and the next two dams are both by the influential Takeda sire, Itomichi. The 4th maternal dam is the notable Japanese Champion show cow, Ezokintau.

Hoshi is the dam of our senior herd sire Hero FB11978. Hoshi is pictured with her Sanjirou daughter, Hotaru 112 FB13992. Hotaru 112 has now calved with a beautiful daughter and is currently in our "flush" program.

Born in 1997, Hoshi is recessive clean and a true matriarch of our wagyu herd. Her daughter by Sanjirou is one our most highly regarded youngsters and her son, Hero, is sure to be a major influence on the next generation of breeding at Baycroft.
